How do I order a travel map?

You can order a travel map by clicking your preferred size on the homepage. Upload your travel information in a simple form, select the right size and you are ready to check out!

What do I need to order a travel map

The only thing you need is a list of the places that you have been to. Dates & a short description (max 75 characters) are optional.

Can I see a preview of my map before ordering

We send you a digital preview of your custom Travel Map maximum 3 business days after ordering. In this digital check you can let us know if you are satisfied with the artwork and if there are changes you want us to make. If you’re completely unsatisfied you always have the option to get a refund.

What if I don’t like my Travel Map?

Maximum 3 business days after sending your order we will send a digital preview of the artwork. If you’re not completely satisfied with the design you can let us know changes. If you’re completely unsatisfied you can always cancel your order and receive a refund.

Are you unhappy with your Travel Map after receiving the actual paper artwork? You can send us a e-mail on team@wemapjourneys.com. A refund is possible within 30 days after you received the map. 

Can I use multiple countries?

Yes. You can use multiple countries, even if the borders don’t touch each other. Look at a example of a design with multiple countries on our Design Page. We have created maps up to 8 different countries before and are always up for a challenge!

Do I have to use the whole country?

No, you can just put regions/states/provinces on the map. Look at a example of a design with a region on our Design Page.

Can I add colors or change design?

No. We choose to offer one minimalistic and timeless design to our customers. Read more about the design and it’s options on the Design Page. Do you think we should? Let us know!

Do I have to use all the components of the Travel Map?

No. The subtitle, dates, line and descriptions are optional. More about this on the Design Page.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is free on all products.

What is the delivery time?

The delivery time generally ranges from 3 – 10 days after completing the digital check. We send you the digital preview after maximum 3 business days after you’ve completed your order. See the delivery time for your country on the Print & Shipping page.

What is the digital check?

In maximum 3 business days after you have completed your order we will send you a digital check. This is your custom Travel Map in a digital file. Now you can check if you’re completely satisfied with the design. Are you happy with the design? Let us know and we will send your travel map. Not completely satisfied? Let us know what changes you want to see. Are you completely unsatisfied? You can cancel your order and receive a complete refund.

Can I add more than 30 locations?

You can’t add more than 30 locations. Our #1 priority is creating a map which portrays your experience, but from a design perspective we can’t fit more than 30 locations on one travel map.

Can my line differ from the locations on the bottom of the map?

Yes. It could be that you don’t want the line to connect the locations chronologically, but just make a line that visually looks the nicest. Let our Graphic Designers know on the bottom of the ordering form, they can do (almost) anything! If things are unclear they will send you a message.

Are you able to hide lines?

Yes. It could be that you want to hide lines or make them connect differently. Just put it in the “notes for the designer” on the bottom of the ordering form.

Do I need to fill in the information in the order form in English?

You can use any language you want: German, Lithuanian, Korean. We will copy the texts that you’ve send us into the map.
